Women of the ELCA

The women of our congregation undertake many tasks to support the overall ministry of St. John's Lutheran Church in Little Suamico. We meet the 2nd Sunday of each month (or as needed) in the conference room immediately following worship. All women are considered to be members. All women are encouraged to participate.

Some of our many tasks include the annual Bazaar (10% of profits generated go to worldwide missions), providing supplies to the church kitchen for fellowship hours, assembling & presenting gift bags to newborns, remembering those who are sick, providing financial assistance to members who experience catastrophic events, assisting with the expenses for the purchase of essential church equipment, providing flowers for worship as needed, and hosting an advent and lenten supper annually for the congregation.
